New logo update: WWE Vengeance

The colour on the logo may be different from the original.

WWE Vengeance was a pay-per-view created by World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment before WWF/E rosters divided to SmackDown and RAW. The first WWE Vengeance took place place on December 9, 2001 at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California. It also witnessed the first ever WWF/E Undisputed Championship took place with Chris Jericho defeated Steve Austin.

After the first WWE Draft in 2002, WWE Vengeance became Smackdown-exclusive pay-per-view and subsequently was made exclusively for RAW. In 2007, WWE decided to make all pay-per-views for all brands including ECW which was revived in 2006, with the name of WWE Vengeance: Nights of Champions.

All WWE titles were defended on 2007's WWE Vengeance and was also the last time for WWE to use Vengeance as its pay-per-view. WWE Vengeance was permanently named as Nights of Champions. 

WWE revived the pay-per-view and was announced in May to replace WWE Bragging Rights. WWE also had crapped WWE Night of Champions received a huge drop on sales and viewership to compare with 2009's Night of Champions.

WWE Vengeance 2011 will take place on October 23, 2011 at AT&T Center, San Antonio, Texas.

New logo update: WWE Smackdown

WWE Smackdown is celebrating its 600th episode. Since the show has moved to Syfy, it is still remains as the no. 1 show in that particular channel. Before that, I also made Smackdown logo and I am not satisfy with it. But today, I had made another one, which is more likely to be the same. 

This logo is based on the current Smackdown Syfy logo. Traditional trapezium shape has been replaced as in the shape above. Colour codes that used in this logo also heavily borrowed from previous Smackdown logo (the one used before WWE HD introduce). Still the font of the logo remained the same.

In non-related story, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is the host of Wrestlemania XXVII. WWE Universe were happy to see his return to the ring after 7 years. He also wanted tp "layeth the smackdown" to John Cena and the Miz (if he is still the WWE Championship). 

Jerry "The King" Lawler was absent on this week's RAW. According to Michael Cole, The King's mother had passed away and also doubled-confirm that he will still challenge The Miz for the championship.

Road to WrestleMania XXVII: My thoughts

Last week, Mr. McMahon announced that the WrestleMania host will be revealed next week. After months, Mr. McMahon finally made his eagerly-anticipated return to Raw – and it was worth the wait. The Chairman opened the program to inform the WWE Universe that on Monday, the host of this year’s WrestleMania will be revealed!

On February 21st after Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, there will be something "big" going to happen. WWE Universe had saw a promo bear the date "2.21.11", which almost resembled WCW Starrcade 1997. Rumors spread that Sting (from TNA and previously WCW) had signed a contract with WWE. Some say it was the return of Undertaker. No one knows what will happen on that day (except WWE personnel themselves). 

Most importantly, I going to watch The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels as WWE Hall of Famer. Since WrestleMania is "SuperBowl of Wrestling", I don't think that The Miz going to retain the WWE Championship. Jerry "The King" Lawler might advance to Wrestlemania to live his dream. Of course "The King" going to drop the title to someone else during Wrestlemania. We going to see what will happen after 1 month from now at Wrestlemania.

New logo update: AXE

Axe (or Lynx in the UK, The Republic of Ireland, New Zealand & Australia) is a brand of male grooming products, owned by the British/Dutch company Unilever and marketed towards young males. The scents range from popular scents to the least common scent called lemon-lime.

In Malaysia, it was launched last year (on June 2010) with creative "twist and spray" deodorant body spray can. As for today, AXE is the second "most wanted" deodorant after Rexona. I started to use it since December and bought it from Guardian for RM11.40 after discounts. I am currently using Axe Click (read description below).

Logo MyRapid salah fontset

Perbezeaan bentuk font logo MyRapid. kerana perbezaan font.

Baru-baru ini, saya melayari laman rasmi MyRapid dan mendapati logo MyRapid seakan-akan logo RapidKL yang dikongsi kepada Transit Malaysia setahun lalu. 

Logo dicipta oleh saya tetapi mendapati terdapat kesalahan fontset. Logo arkib dari: Arkib Blog Sang Arnab Kelabu.

Sama ada pencipta laman web itu menciplak logo itu daripada Transit Malaysia atau tidak, mereka tidak memerhati logo itu secara betul sebelum menggunakannya. Ini adalah kerana fontset yang digunakan adalah salah.

The logo consist the old Twitter bird, the old Twitter logo and Malaysia.com, plus "Let's tweet Malaysia!" slogan.

The old Twitter bird has been "Malaysianized" to make it more like Malaysia. The blue is the colour we can see on the our flag's canton and with the Federal Star of Malaysia

The word of "Tweeter" was merely edited version of previous Twitter logo. The additional "Malaysia" at the bottom of "Tweeter" used Futura font. It's quite hard for me to make it 'balance' as the "Tweeter". However, I could made it entirely.

Motto has been put by using Myraid font type and with another font which similar to "Tweeter" for the ".com"

New logo update: SPCA Selangor logo

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Selangor, Malaysia (SPCA Selangor) is a non-profit animal shelter in Selangor, Malaysia that aims to help animals that cannot defend themselves. The SPCA Selangor was founded by Ruth Spiers in 1958.

SPCA Selangor receives almost 1,100 animals ranging from dogs to rabbits every month. Due to shortage of space and funding, and a 10 percent adoption rate, SPCA Selangor must euthanize many animals each year. The SPCA Selangor aims to become a no-kill facility by 2010.

In addition to operating animal shelters, SPCA Selangor educates the public about responsible pet ownership, lobbies for animal protection and animal control laws, spays and neuters animals, and investigates animal cruelty complaints.

Currently, SPCA Selangor is working to persuade the local government to increase the fine for animal abusers. This campaign came about when a dog breeder in Cheras was found guilty of abusing 13 of his dogs and fined RM200. In another case, Tim, a Dachshund, had its chain wrapped so tightly around its neck that the chain had become embedded into the skin, causing it to suffer a bloody six-inch wound around its neck. Its owner got a fine of RM200 and was put in jail for one day. In response these and other punishments which SPCA Selangor felt were insufficient, SPCA came up with a petition and is appealing to the courts and the law makers to increase the maximum fine of RM200 and/or six months of imprisonment under The Animal Ordinance 1953 to a fine of RM100,000.

New logo update: Comic Fiesta 2010

Comic Fiesta began as a two-day event in celebration of the ACG culture in 2002. We wanted to bring together the Malaysian ACG (Anime, Comics & Games) community, so that fans will be able to get together, interact and help expand the creative pool of the community. At the time, the ACG culture was just beginning to take root in Malaysia, and Comic Fiesta was one of the rare conventions where fans and public alike could come together and celebrate its creative diversity.

From our humble beginnings at the Selangor Chinese Assembly hall, Comic Fiesta has now become the go-to source for the best and the most innovative ideas in the local ACG community. From just a few hundred visitors in a small community hall in Kuala Lumpur, we have grown by leaps and bounds, with the pulling power to attract almost 8,000 visitors in our latest iteration of Comic Fiesta held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. We have become the premier ACG event in Malaysia, and we will only grow bigger and bolder in the times to come.

We are made up of volunteers through and through, coming together to create an avenue where local talents in comics, animation and cosplay can come together, interact and come up with new and exciting ideas to push the creative development industry in Malaysia forward.

New logo update: WWE Money In The Bank

Another WWE logo update and this time is a past WWE pay-per-view logo, Money in the Bank.

The word, "Money" and "Bank" uses Allstar4. However, the word "In The" uses Enigma. Although I had limited resources to make it to 3D or the exact logo, I had tried my best to make it.

Only the "K" on the "Bank" where edited wrongly. 

Hope WWE Universe will enjoy it. This logo is downloadable at Brands of the World.

New logo design: FCC and Faithfulness

This few days, I have been making 2 logo for my workplace.

(1) the company's logo

(2) my next year's class logo

Company's logo

The elements of the logo were heavily borrowed from Accelerated Christian Education logo. Although elements were borrowed, it doesn't means that I copied people's copyright. I had modified it so that the logo will not going to be the exact looking as ACE's.

The company's logo contains the letters, "F.C.C" and supported by 2 books. One of the books is the Holy Bible while the other one can be consider the book of knowledge.

Left and the right side of the cross were a dove and a globe facing East Asia (Malaysia for common) side. It brings the meaning that, "God has sent peace to Malaysia.". And last one, the cross. It is the symbol of religion.

Class logo
The colors consist the "Colors of Faith" - yellow, black, white, red, green, blue and purple. The word "Faithfulness" itself was using an Old English type of font, with the T as the symbol of the cross. Behind, the "Faithfulness", there was another '11 sign represented the year of the batch. Of course, a Bible verse regarding faithfulness has been put along with the school's name and Penn Foster preparatory class.

Initial D 2: The Movie

We are still waiting for the sequel of Initial D The Movie. According to my understanding, Jay Chou will be directing the movie, as well as starring in it. The only reprising role in the movie is Edison Chen's Ryosuke Takahasi.

Well, I am so exited to wait for the movie. I know everybody waiting for it. The release date is yet to confirmed but whether it's going to be release in 2012 still on debate. 

Jordan Chan and Shawn Yue - if you want me to choose one of it, I would rather have Shawn Yue to reprise his role. No matter how the outcome of the film, I am still going to watch the movie, because my favourite star: Jay Chou is on the movie. 

P/S: The "Initial D 2" logo above was my creation, not the official logo to the sequel film.

Mock logo of Cena/Nexus

Since Cena will be either free from Nexus or fire from WWE, I made up this logo for him. Much of the colors of CEXA uses the color of Cenation (font: Aachen) were purple and yellow, so the logo of Nexus also retaining the originality and adjust the border of the Nexus logo with CEXA logo.

P/S: This logo can be seen every time when you watch WWE RAW, and sometimes with a "NO" sign on the Nexus logo. This is only a mock logo, and was not a part of WWE.

New logo update: WWE Velocity

This is my first time to make WWE Velocity logo using Fireworks. The green stripes and the 'V' logo were totally a disaster for me to make, even though this current version wasn't as same as WWE version.

However I already tried my best. Even the word "Velocity" too. Due to lack of preview of the logo in the internet, I can't assure what was the correct way to make the word out from a small, little picture.

Pertandingan mencipta logo

Baru-baru ini, Vectorise.net mengadakan pertandingan mencipta logo untuk laman webnya (dan laman forum). Pemenang akan menerima RM200 dan logo akan menjadi hak cipta mereka.

Tujuan saya meletakkan logo ini di laman blog saya adalah untuk meminta pandangan orang ramai sebelum saya menyerahkan salinan logo ke laman web tersebut.

Logo sebegini memang nampak semudah membina ayat. Akan tetapi, logo untuk sesuatu laman web tidak memerlukan komplikasi. Warna pula menggunakan warna asas RGB dan menambahkan 'gradient' untuk nampak lebih kemas.

Font logo pula menggunakan 2 jenis, iaitu ITC Conduit (yang digunakan oleh WWTBAM) dan Cibreo.

WWE goes Old School on WWE RAW

I never noticed that WWE is having a 3-hour special for old school (or Legends) to perform on WWE RAW with the current superstars of WWE. Yes, the classic Monday Night Raw returns for one night only.

In the promo, we can see Shawn Michaels and Marty Jennetty (The Rockers) in it. According to internet sources, Shawn Michaels will not appear on RAW because he did not consider himself as an old school (even he was one of the performers during the starting of Classic Monday Night RAW - Federation Era).

In conjunction of WWE goes Old School, I made this logo which much based on Federation Era's WWF/E Superstar. I get fire-up when I made this logo, plus the Federation Era - WWE logo. Stay tune on Astro SuperSport, November 16 of WWE RAW.

New logo update: Brothers In Arms and Little Grey Rabbit's 23rd Birthday Celebration

As you can see here, there are 2 rabbits with crowns on their heads and another logo which resembles a country's coat-of-arms.

The rabbits with crowns were my official logo to celebrate my 23rd birthday anniversary which just near the corner. Since I can't celebrate with myself -either with cake or red eggs due to chicken pox, I decided to get myself a logo of it.

The one which resembled a country's coat-of-arms was created based on another person who shared the same birthday as mine. Although this logo still a draft, but I like it very much.

Stand Up For WWE

Yes! Finally had done with this "Stand Up For WWE" logo. After a long search in the internet to get the correct font, rather to use Impact, I've found one with the nearest to it - Compress.

I had no intention to put this logo in BotW because this is one of the rare logo with the correct font that I can find. Until I can get the correct font, I will not put this into BotW.

However, I like the current one more than the previous because this one almost similar to the original.

New logo update: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Malaysia - Chinese Edition

Malaysia version
百万富翁 (English translation: Millionaire, transliteration: Bǎi Wàn Fù Wēng) was a Malaysian game show in Mandarin language based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show was hosted by Victor Gu. The main goal of the game was to win 1 millionMalaysian ringgit by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. There were three lifelines - fifty fifty, phone a friend and ask the audience.百万富翁 was broadcast from 2001 to 2003. It was shown on the Malaysian TV station NTV7.


Hong Kong version

The Millionaire (Chinese: 百萬富翁, Cantonese Yale: baak3 maan6 fu3 yung1, Jyutping: baak3 maan6 fu3 jung1, also had the English words of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire surrounding the Chinese title) was a game show from Hong Kong, based on the original British format of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. The show's host was Kenneth Chan. The main goal of the game was to win 1 million Hong Kong dollars by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. There were three lifelines: fifty-fifty, phone a friend and ask the audience. Baak Maan Fu Yung first aired on May 7, 2001. It was broadcast by Hong Kong's ATV.

This logo of WWTBAM was made for tribute to people of Hong Kong for visiting my page via Google Images by searching "百萬富翁 logo". The difference between the original Hong Kong's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire were:-

(1) I did not use dollar sign on the logo as the original has the dollar sign.

(2) The font of 百萬富翁 uses Sans-looking rather than the original's serif-looking font.

New logo update: Stand Up For WWE

Recently, I had realized that there is a slightly unnoticed part of the logo was not discovered. Currently, most of 3D WWE logo also showed that there is a slightly different from the one vectorized and found in any websites. You can have a look at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5quZdqiUTk&feature=player_embedded#! and see the logo of WWE at the beginning and compare with those can be found in the internet - except those in 3D form (especially WWE Pay-Per-View logo).

I also made-up Stand for WWE logo. Bad news is, I was unable to get any font (for the word: Stand Up For) that is resemble with the original - of course, don't talk about paying for just a font. I already tried my best to possibly make it available on BrandsoftheWorld.
