Prayer answering God

Immediately after Little Grey Rabbit woke up in the morning of 8th of Av 5771, Rabbit felt the aura of God was present. God has given Rabbit the answer of his question that he has been asking for quite a while, through a vision during his sleep a night before.

Due to certain issued raised and a person revealed to have talked something not sweet to Boar J, the buddieship between Rabbit and Boar J. almost ended. It was also unsure whether Boar J. and Rabbit's covenant really accepted or otherwise since Boar J. has expressed his phobic of been touched except for his beloved.

On the night of 7th of Av 5771, God has revealed to Rabbit that He was pleased with his buddieship with Boar J. God also gave Rabbit a vision too. In the vision, Boar J. was having conversations with Rabbit. It was ended up with Boar J. came towards Rabbit and gave Rabbit a big, warm hug. Rabbit patted Boar J.'s head during the hug. Both Boar J. and Rabbit went to play, jump and run around (a place) before the vision ended.

Because of the prayer answering dream, Holy Spirit had led Rabbit for fasting, where he fasted from dawn until dusk. With Rabbit's body condition when he was just recovered, he able to keep the fast until the sunset. Before he broke fast, he prayed and gave thanks to the Lord for had answered the problem in his heart.

Rabbit also posted a status on his Faithbook saying that he doesn’t deserve it (to have this buddieship blessed). Later that day, Fairy Faye commented and said that, God will not reveal it to him if He thinks that Rabbit doesn’t deserve it. The comment had put many things in Rabbit's mind out and even eagerly wanted to improvise the buddieship.

The work of the Devil?

Little Grey Rabbit has started to listen to worships and praises song. He would eventually listen to it day and night and even during the time that he needs to sleep as well. Rabbit also downloaded "I could sing of Your love forever" on Thursday night (4th Av, 5771) and would listen to the song along with "Trading my sorrow" for the entire night.

Early morning of 5th Av, 5771 - a night after, Rabbit's laptop was frozen from operation, although it will normally turned blue screen and shut down by itself. The laptop was still on and the programs in the computer was ceased from functioning. Rabbit was in a rush to work and turned off the computer until the later that evening.

Again, Rabbit turned on the laptop and it's functional after he had returned from his work. He would again listen to "I could sing of Your love forever" again for the rest of the night. He also listened to the song during his sleep too. When Rabbit woke up the next afternoon on 6th Av, 5771, this time, the laptop appeared black screen and with "No boot drivers were found".

Rabbit turned it off and turned it on after a while and the laptop able to function properly. He was curious that he thought that it might also be the work of the Devil that had tried to make him feel scared. Deep inside Rabbit's heart, he said, "It will not going to tremble my faith in God!" He would again listen to the same song later that night to assure that it will not going to have any more disturbance.

A real-life Noah’s Ark

An hour outside of Amsterdam in Dordrecht, Netherlands, a ship is under construction. But this ain't your typical sailboat, bub. Johan Huibers is building a full-scale replica of Noah's ark.

Yes, that Noah's ark. And Johan, an expert builder, isn't skimping on the details. The ship, which he's been constructing for the past three years, is built to biblical specs. Johan culled information on the ark's size and shape directly from the good book. In the end, the ship is four stories high and the length of a football field. And yes, it's seaworthy.

The result is an incredibly impressive ship, especially considering it was realized simply by a man with a dream--or, perhaps, a nightmare. According to an interview with NBC's "The Today Show," Johan dreamt that Holland suffered a great flood. The next morning, he woke up determined to start preparing for that worst-case scenario.

The ship, which is not to be confused with the theme park in Kentucky that also honors Noah's ark, is generating a lot of interest in the search box. Over the past 24 hours, online lookups for "noah's ark photos" and "noah's ark real ship" have surged.

As for the craft proper, it's not complete yet, but it's getting close. The master plan is to sail the ship up the Thames in time for the London Olympics next year. Expect to see plenty of life-size plastic animals aboard (two of each type, of course).

Watch this video for a look inside "Noah's ark".

Hope that returned when we give up

I have been working for one week straight without off day and had skipped one time after my first appearance at church. I was asked to work for this Sunday as well because the cats will be given away this week. Again, I lose my hope to go for church again.

This week’s sharing for GCF (Genesis Christian Fellowship) was all about to be steward of time. At one point, I also mentioned about how many of us spent time within 24 hours with God? Immediately, I regained the hope to continue on my struggle in order for me to be able to make it to church by next week.

On that evening, I was informed that I have been relieved from the duties on Sunday because of the infection of the eye (on Sasha) and [today] Sofie had undergone a spraying surgery. My other male colleague will need to replace his Saturday off day with Sunday. It means that I’m will have my off day on Sunday to allow me to go to church.

Earlier this week, another colleague of mine also were having devotion about God tested Pharaoh's heart (due to the Pharoah's hardened heart), to make sure Moses and other Israelites stayed in Egypt (in the Book of Exodus) until the last plague, the plague of the first-born, also (maybe) killed the Crown Prince. In contrast, God may also soften other people's heart as well.

Sometimes, we are unaware that God always will plan for us (of course, we also need to plan ours). Whenever we wanted to give up, God will somehow show His presence in many ways that deemed impossible. When we already regain the hope, God will surely bless us and give us a path. Thank you, Lord for all these things that has been showing that, "God is good, all the time!" I will make good use of the time on this Sunday's church service.

Church Cancelled Due to Lack of God

The Church of Holy Christ In Heaven
will soon change its name to the
Church of Imaginary Make-Believe Land.

The South—Parishioners of Pastor Theo Leobald’s First Congregational Church of Holy Christ In Heaven will not meet next Sunday morning for a coffee social and morning Bible study as they do every week, gathering in fellowship and offering thanks and praise to God on high. The reason for the cancellation? Simply the fact that, according to Leobald, God does not now, has never, and will never exist.

When asked why he is convinced of God’s nonexistence, Leobald became visibly irritated with reporters.

“What’re you, an illiterate peasant? Aren’t you familiar with 20th century thinking at all? Christ, read a book, or maybe just think about the idea for a minute. Pretty ridiculous, huh?” he said.

When pressed, however, he sighed heavily, and explained that thousands of years ago, tribes of nomadic desert peoples made up God because, being incapable of scientific reasoning due to caveman-like existences, they had no other way of making sense of things like sunshine, rocks and pork-transmitted trichinosis.

“They made it all up, and they were ignorant, unwashed, half-naked pre-historic barbarians,” Leobald said. “So who are you gonna believe: Carl Sagan, and the pantheon of the world’s greatest scientific and intellectual minds, or some guy who measured wealth by how many goats he had?”

Sagan, according to Leobald, is an “astronomer” in a big city far, far away who writes what are known as “books.”

“I just felt like an idiot saying all that nonsense week in, week out. What’s the point of singing hymns of joyous adoration to a fictional entity?” Leobald said.

“Why convene to donate time, money and personal resources to a being which exists only in fabulous legends and mythological ancient texts? If we were to keep doing that, week after week, why, we’d feel ridiculous, wouldn’t we? Plus, we’d look pretty stupid as well. It’d be like talking to a wall, and frankly, I’ve got better things to do with my time. And I sincerely hope all of you do too.”

Although reactions among community members to Leobald’s decision have been varied, most have been positive.

“I never really liked getting up that early on the weekend anyway, but continued to do so out of gripping fear of having my entrails eternally ripped out by flaming scimitars after death,” Gregory H. Tensdale, 51, said. “But now that I know it’s all just pretend, I am no longer terrified.”

Tensdale concluded by adding that the uncomfortable dress-up clothes he has always detested will be on the trash heap by sundown, and that he fully expects to stay clad only in underwear until well after the game on Sundays from now on.

“I enjoyed the lovely singing during church service, and was very sad to see it go, particularly because I am a lonely septuagenarian waiting to die,” Mabel Graskowsky, 78, said. “But then Pastor explained to me that there are groups who get together just for singing only, and I could go to any one I wanted whenever I wished. Just singing! None of that boring inbetween stuff I always slept through. I’m much happier now.”

Not all opinions were as supportive.

“Who cares if God isn’t real? I say worship him anyway,” School Board Member Fred Nichtenhausen said. “After all, every grown-up man and woman knows Santa Claus isn’t real, yet we worship him every year on Christmas, the Holy Day of Santa’s birth, as prophesied by Nostradamus.”

Added junior high school student Curt Mondaham, who was unimpressed with the pastor’s speech, “Big deal. He’s just saying the same thing Neil Peart’s been saying for years.”

For those who still want to worship, if not God, but just something, Leobald has started a Sunday morning group called The Church of Imaginary Make-Believe Land, where churchgoers will have their choice of nonexistent beings to submit to. Some of the worship selections include Poseidon, super-agent James Bond and fabled storybook character Peter Pan. “I’m worshipping Peter Pan,” Gladys Fye, 108, said. “I do so love his adorable little pointed green shoes. Oh, that Tinkerbell with her magic dust!”

For his part though, Leobald says he will not be attending.

“I’m meeting once a week, not Sundays but on Wednesdays, with anyone who cares to join me. We won’t be worshipping anybody, just practicing my favorite hobby, horticulture. I’ll admit, it doesn’t have the power to grant eternal absolution from earthly pain, but at least flowers are real. We must cultivate our garden.”

Returning to church

Today was the day for me to attend the first ever service after 3 years absent from a formal church. Last week I had disappointed Joshua, I will not do it this week, especially when I am a mentor to him. I woke up a bit later than the time I did last week. But a sudden downpour making it more impossible for me to go to church.

I posted a status in Facebook, "LOL. RAINING... HOW TO GO TO CHURCH?" After a while, the rain stopped and I walked quickly to the bus stop to take bus towards Taman Midah. SJ Bus was the quickest and ready to move, so I took it. I found out that many people in the bus started complaining to the bus conductor because of the new fees from Zone 1 to Zone 3 is now RM2.50 (previously they decreased it to RM2 without approval of LPKP and was a move to fight with RapidKL).

When I reached Taman Midah - KL Bound, I need to be quite and not to be late as the time was already 9:47a.m. I need to walked for another distance (Taman Midah - Cheras Bound) to the nearest taxi stand just in front of Nissan Car, which I wasn't aware of it last week). It was lucky enough for me to get a taxi as soon I reached the taxi stand. I managed to reach Pandan Safari about 9:55a.m. As have been told, I waited for Joshua at the place where the bonsai were (disappeared after a week).

Then, I contacted Joshua by first calling him but he didn't pick up the phone and after that I had sent two text messages to him. My head was empty and don't know what else I could do, so I went out to take a cab back home. This time, the luck wasn't by my side. I waited for half an hour for it. Most of the taxis already occupied. Only by that time, Joshua contacted me and asked me to come over again. I was already lost my hope at that time too.

I went back and as been told again to wait for him at the entrance of Econsave. I have waited with ended hope and the time has passed 5 minutes without any trace of him. Finally, he had popped out. He took me to the entrance of the church and the sharing has started (the service already halfway). The sharing was about success with actions. The weird thing was the service in deed bilingual with English as the main language and translated immediately by a Mandarin translator.

After the sharing, Joshua took me to the back seats ( I was sitting at the third row of middle section at the beginning). I was then greeted with a "Hi!" and my eyesight was not good, I couldn't figure out who was them? They were Delena Swan (her Facebook name) and her family.

As other already dispersed for lunch and Joshua was needed for a meeting, I went all by myself and played with my handphone. I also was asked by some of the members to have some foods and drinks but I declined because I know that my mother had cooked something at home (which ended up eating dumpling). Joshua had accompanied me for the rest of the time and talked something about our Christian fellowship, some history of mine and Joshua also talked about some of the youth members' histories as well.

The church ended before 2p.m. and I was planning to go home by my own. But I was asked to follow one of the members (Mr. Fredrick) and I asked him to just dropped me at Leisure Mall bus stand, so I won't be bordering people to fetch me way into my housing area. I am glad that I was managed to went to the church and hoping I can stay. Thank you, Lord for making this possible! Success with action!

My weirdo dreams: Unholiness

2 weeks ago before 2 days before my holidays, I had weird dreams (once more). On the first night, I dream about Satan, who stood before me and ripped my soul along with him as he went away. I don't recalled the condition of the time when my soul was taken away but I pretty sure that I wasn't in hell.

I didn't told the story to anyone due to I had forgotten everything about it and went to work as usual.

After the day, I was very tired and reached home at late evening. I have a rest and watched television. My mother asked me to go to bath and get ready for dinner. Surprisingly, I went into my bed and fast asleep.

This time, I had another dream. I was in an industrial factory, based on all around me were steel pipes hanging here and there. The more deeper I went into the factory, I started to heard noises. All those noises came from unidentified kitten-looking animals. I walked further and saw a stairs to the second floor while ignoring these animals.

Somehow, I was accidentally dropped my shoes while walking up the stairs. Below the stairs, there were around 3 or 4 those kitten-looking creatures. At the very moment, I heard voices of my employer (one of them) from the second floor. Again, I ignored it and walked downwards to get back my shoes.

Before I could retrieve it, those kittens turned aggressive and started to make even louder noises. alerted others as well. As I look close-up, it was a white tiger cub look-like kitten without eyeballs in their eye sockets. Their eyes also dropped out from their eye sockets as soon as I tried to retrieve the shoes.

Other white tiger cub look-like kitten without eyeballs in their eye sockets starting to move towards my way. As results, I ran to the stairs which considered much safer than on the ground.

What are the messages that are trying to tell me through the dreams? After that I woke up from my sleep as my mother came into my room to wake me up. I posted the view of the dream on my Facebook. At the same time, I realised that I had the first dream about Satan.

I don't share very detailed about it to any people until my colleague also had dream about kitten as well. No one were sure what it was about as it does involved faith and salvation. Hope those dreams can reveal more details in short times.

Controversy of Valentine's Day

PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Bhd has apologised for negative comments made during the programme Halaqah, aired over TV9 two years ago, linking Valentine’s Day with Christianity.

“We regret the comments and opinions expressed by our guest panellist, Siti Nor Bahyah Mahamood during the programme on Feb 15, 2009,” said Media Prima Bhd television networks chief operating officer Ahmad Izham Omar in a press statement.

Siti Nor Bahyah was reported to have said that “immoral activities, discoing, couples meeting in private, were traditions of the Christian community.”

The Christian Federation of Malaysia has stressed that Valentine’s Day was a secular observance which Roman Catholics and Protestants do not commemorate as a religious festival.

“Since the incident, we have been more vigilant and perceptive in monitoring the content of our programmes including Halaqah. We want to ensure that our programmes do not offend or create potentially sensitive content,” Ahmad Izham said.

MCA has urged Media Prima to immediately air a public notification of dissociation from Islamic motivator speaker Siti Nor Bahyah Mahamood's remarks and not to broadcast any programmes with her as a panellist or guest speaker until she apologises to the Christian community.

Comments by motivational speaker Siti Nor Bahyah Mahamood linking Valentine's Day to Christianity and immoral activities by Christians have been criticised by the Council of Churches Malaysia (CCM).

"They have erred in their inference, and therefore has hurt the religious feelings of Christians in the country. Valentine's Day is a secular observance, and it is not celebrated religiously by churches in Malaysia, or, in other parts of the world." said Rev. Dr Herman Shastri, General Secretary of Council of Churches Malaysia (CCM) in a statement.

He also added, "In the spirit of One Malaysia, promoted by the government, we appeal to the good conscience of the authorities to repeal such hurting inferences that Christianity promotes sexual promiscuity because of Valentine's Day observance, often made in the media and in the said Fatwah."

In the mean time, several Islamic organisations had started Anti-Valentine's Day campaign. However, Sisters in Islam (SIS) has hit out at PAS over its controversial plans to 'check' sinful activities and play the moral police on Valentine's Day.

'Moral policing is against Islamic values and fundamental liberties. It violates personal dignity and privacy, which is forbidden in the Quran and Hadith,' an SIS spokesperson said.

Valentine's Day

The controversial Valentine's Day had became a mess when certain quarter thinks that Valentine's Day was a Christian teachings and what-so-ever. I would like to stress up that St. Valentine was a priest that preached Christian teachings and he wasn't mentioned in Holy Bible too. Even the Holy Bible itself didn't written any about Valentine's Day. The controversy was just a make-up by these people to condemn other religions and some sort of promoting their own.

For Christians, do remember that that we must always put God first before others. That's why we must love Him as He always loves us – no matter in what kind of situations. Certain people felt miserable just because they unable to have a girlfriends / boyfriends to celebrate Valentine's Day. These are two of few verses that talks about the love of God:-
"Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love." [1 John 4:8]

"We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him." [1 John 4:16]
Valentine's Day was / is / will not be a part of Christianity. It was just a culture that people wanted to celebrate it for no reason. If we really wanted to celebrate it badly, there are people around us that able to "celebrate" with. For example, you can celebrate that day with your parents to repay your debts for all the efforts they put on you. Or you might choose to celebrate it with your friends. To my understanding, your feelings will reject yourself from having them on that day, but remember the Bible says:-
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." [John 15:12-13]
However, I also wanted to remind Christian in particular that having sex with your partners on Valentine's Day is a must and it must be done because you feel that it's necessary. If you have sex with your unmarried partner, it is also consider as adultery. Currently, people can have sex freely with sweet talks and other ways of pursuing it. The Word says:-
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." [Revelation 21:8]
Hope that people can understand that (1) Christianity had nothing to do with St. Valentine or Valentine's Day, (2) you can celebrate that day with parents or friends, not necessary with opposite sex, and (3) do not go overboard by misuse that day as a day for you to commit sins

Dikacau syaitan

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

The task

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light. An angel appeared, showed a large rock in front of his cabin and asked him to push against the rock with all his might.

This the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock.

Nothing happened. And he decided to make it a matter of prayer.
"Lord I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even been able to budge that rock. What is wrong? Why am I failing?"

The angel appeared again :
"My friend, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. And now you come to me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so?"

"Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinewy and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have become massive and hard."

"Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have."

"You learned the importance of discipline and training," "This you have done. Now it is my turn, my task."

And the angel moved the rock, showing to the man a beautiful path ahead.

Salam Aidiladha

Penduduk kampung sedang mengorbankan seekor lembu -GDI.

Macam Hari Raya Aidilfitri pula. Semoga Allah memberkati Malaysia dan seluruh rakyat Malaysia.

Salam 1Malaysia.

Our Daily Bread: June-August Issue

The June - August issue of Our Daily Bread. From left: Enter Into the Youth World, The Final Goal, Contribution Envelope, The Final Goal subscription form and Our Daily Bread.
Today, I received 'Our Daily Bread' for June - August issue. When I opened the envelope, there are 2 'The Final Goal' pamphlets. I started to read on it and found out that the story in it was interesting.

They combine some football facts and some Bible facts to create it. It was created in conjunction of 2010 South Africa's World Cup which will start on 11 June to 11 July 2010. As I read on, the pamphlet is just a sample to give to friends. If I need a real one then I need to ask from RBC Ministries Resources. And that whole thing actually is a book which published by Our Daily Bread.

I was so eagerly about this book and will decide to get it for myself to make it a part of my devotion. However, I also wants to re-submit my details because the management of RBC put my name wrongly. From 'DANIEL' to 'DANEIL' and my address too, 'DAMAI' became 'DANAI'.

The front cover of 'The Final Goal' which attracted people to see it.

Worried that I might write the wrong thing on the wrong place on the postal order, I need to verify with certain people regarding the postal order's usage. Since I'm a big noob in using 'such modern' application, I need to be very careful with everything I do later on.

Another pamphlet about 'Enter into the Youth Word'

Then the pamphlet on the left is all about a portal for Christian Youth all over the world to show something (either musics, pictures and etc.) that revealed ourselves to the Lord. Actually, it is a cool site and easy to find too.

Community of Praise Church, Malaysia

Community of Praise Kuala Lumpur is the 1st church established by Community of Praise Baptist Church (Singapore). The church was attented by my late cousin previously.

Community of Praise Malaysia later began its own journey to expand their ministries in Malaysia, and India too. *Note: Ccmmunity of Praise Malaysia had nothing to do with Community of Praise Singapore.

This is some information from: http://www.copchurch.com/about/our-history/

Our journey started in June 1996 when 4 couples met at the home of the Andersons (Ian and Wendy) to seek what God was saying to them. They met each week, continually seeking God. They eventually asked Pastor Charles Carrol from Community of Praise Baptist Church in Singapore to meet with them. He came together with Matthew Pang and agreed God was doing something in our midst, “that the Spirit was heavy upon him” and that he would seek the CPBC council approval for us to come under their covering.

After much prayer and discussion with Pastor Charles Carrol, Sunday services were started on 17th January, 1997 with 27 people in attendance at the home of the Andersons in Lingkungan U-Thant, Kuala Lumpur.

Subsequently, Ian Anderson and Peter Zimmerman were appointed the Founding Elders of Community of Praise in Malaysia. Thus Community of Praise Kuala Lumpur was “born of the flesh and of the Spirit”.

Pastor Steve of CPBC together with different pastors from CPBC traveled to KL every weekend to preach, teach, consult, train or to just encourage the enthusiastic team of early leaders. Subsequently, COP Kuala Lumpur became strong enough to stand on its own by God’s grace. CPBC’s direct involvement tapered off and finally ceased altogether.

As CoP Kuala Lumpur grew, the congregation’s needs also grew. It needed bigger premises, a full time pastor, more staff, etc. It was at this juncture, in 2000, that the church began to worship at the Methodist Centre for Women and Children in Ulu Klang. Rev Todd Nelson from Texas was recruited to lead the church as its Senior Pastor. He was ably assisted by Rev Rudy Liu and Pastor Edward Nathaniel. These three and their spouses (Jeni Nelson, Pastor Ruby Liu and Elsie Nathaniel) together with Ian and Wendy Anderson were appointed as Elders of CoP Kuala Lumpur.

In January 2002 CoP Kuala Lumpur welcomed Pastor Joel Kumar and his wife Angeline Kumar to head the Tamil Work in the Ampang area. In February 2002, Brother Paul Packianathan and his wife Sister Victoria Packianathan also joined us to assist in the Tamil Work. Pastor Joel & his family left CoP in December 2002 to look for greener pastures.

After his ordination, Rev Paul Packianathan took charge of our Tamil Work on 01.01.2003 when it became a local church named CoP Taman Wahyu.

On 01.05.2007, CoP Petaling Jaya was added to our fold.

Subsequently, in Tamil Nadu, India, two more churches were instituted – CoP Perungudi and CoP Saidapet.

Currently CoP is a church that is run solely by Malaysians and is purely supported by its members.

This is a very brief account of our origin and growth. Details will be added as they are compiled as much of the info was lost in the challenging period in December 2002.
