New logo update: Team Gentleness

This logo is for my class in my workplace, FCC Uni-Able Teach Center. The management of the center started to give names to some of the classes under the learning center and my class was named as Gentleness. To assure that all of us will work and study together, the word 'Team' was put on to the name.

This logo is very identical to Google logo with all the words too. The verse from Philippians 5:4a was chose to reflect the new class' name. The verse also available in both English and Chinese.

Reason why the Google identical font and colors were used because the colors reflected the gentleness of the logo, while the font was to add on the 'spirit' of the logo and the colors as well.

Never-the-less, it is not an official logo although the name of the class has been finalized. The Chinese "gentleness" also available in the logo - was put inside the open side of the 'G'.

The move of re-branding the classes' name were due to no official name given to each of every classes except for Penn Foster. They were simply identified as Block X students.

Return of Insomnia

Since after I had fall sick few weeks ago, my sleep time became a major problem when I stopped depending on medication to rest. In additional, during my trip to Sitiawan make things worse PLUS been disturbed by unseen "spirit(s)" when I was trying to sleep too.

Because of all these and afraid of unseen "spirit(s)", I slept at 5 a.m. every night (averagely around 4:15 a.m). Insomnia had returned and struck my life again.

When I need to sleep early to work for the next day, I couldn't make myself sleep without medication. However, I did not simply took medication to make myself to go to sleep. I am not a drug addict as many presumes that since I need some pills (drugs) to make me sleep, I might become addicted. NO, I wasn't that kind of person who took pills (drugs) like candies.

On Sunday night, I only slept for 3 and a half hours - when return to work, I gave excuses that the weather was hot until unable to sleep well (but it was a fact that on certain times, I can't fall asleep if the weather were too hot or too cold). While on Monday night, I only slept for one hour and forced myself to wake up and prepare myself to go to work.

Today, at my work place, I required to mark my students' PACEs since the management changed duties of monitor(s) and Ivan resigned from his job due to personal problem. When I mark my students' book, I almost knock out because my eyes started to close up. When I returned home, I took some rest before I went for my dinner and now online while updating this post.

I really hope that I can return to my normal sleep once more. I don't wish to keep insomnia-ing that often because it will cost my work performance to "get low" and unable to get salary increasing. Without doubt, I will not depend on pills (drugs) too. To all of you, please don't misinterpret this blog post as it has nothing to do with addiction.

Iconic Pudu prison wall torn down

KUALA LUMPUR (June 22): With just a few strikes from an excavator, parts of the iconic Pudu Prison wall came crashing down last night, marking the beginning of a new era for the historical area.

Even before the clock struck 10pm, people were crowding Jalan Pudu to witness the tearing down of part of the 394m prison wall.

Cameras were flashing the moment an excavator started demolition of the wall from inside the prison area at about 10.20pm.

Curious onlookers also hurried to pick up fallen bricks to take home as souvenirs.

The wall was full of mold, algae and weeds, indicating its old age.

According to a City Hall worker, two excavators would be used during the four-day demolition that will end on Thursday.

“A total of 25 workers will be involved in this project. We have put up plastic barriers along the demolition site and Jalan Pudu will be closed from 10pm until 5am during this period,” he said last night before the demolition work started.

“Cleaning up of the debris will be done in the morning at about 8am.”

Bukit Bintang MP Fong Kui Lun was spotted among the crowd.

“I regret to see one of the oldest landmarks in Kuala Lumpur being destroyed. However, I will speak to the Government regarding the preservation of the wall facing Jalan Hang Tuah,” he said.

End of an icon: Passers-by watching the demolition of the Pudu Prison in Kuala Lumpur last night.

He said the architecture of Pudu Prison reflected the work of builders during the English colonial times.

An ex-prisoner Suharto Abdul Wahab said he went last night “to make sure the wall came down.”

“It is a pity that the building is going down because of its historical value. But I don’t have any sentimental memories,” said Suharto, who served time in the 1980s for drug possession.

“During that time, each cell could fit about eight or nine people. We were packed like sardines.”

Long-time resident of the Pudu area, Yong Kong Kin, 61, came with his son to witness the demolition.

“Although it is sad that the building is being demolished, it is necessary for the historical building to go because the ‘new’ society needs to make way for development,” he said.

Thank you, WrestlingMania

I am excited when a forum named WrestlingMania, which I joined in on yesterday used the logo that I created and proposed to them as a token of appreciation from me. I went to the site to download certain WWE TV and wrestlers theme songs.

I was happy every time when I go to the forum board and saw my logo used and appreciated by other people, unlike certain logo uploaders who meant to download from the original site and re-upload it onto another website. They will not care about the original uploader's feelings.

As a freelancer logo designer, I am proud with all my designs no matter what? That is why I keep making logo (sometimes were based on certain company's identifiable programs or brands). From there, we learn how to improve ourselves and later create a logo on your own based on the knowledge you have.

The Road Not Taken: Stories of Jaywalkers

These pictures were taken at a junction of Jalan Pandan Indah. The signal lights of both ‘stop’ and ‘walk’ alight at the same time. How will the pedestrians think about it? Walk or not? Let you all think about it when you see such a situation when the time to cross the road cut short too. For sure, some people will just cross over no matter how danger the road is? ‘Fly’ over the road even though will high heel shoes and skirts. Nice scene though.
Justify Full
Let’s have a survey on a few people about the signal lights and the road crossing of Jalan Pandan Indah.

Mr. A:
“Aiya! You know I am a busy man or not? Need to rush for work. No time to look at the signal at all. Run quickly then safe already la.”

Ms. E:
“Of course I will wait for the pedestrian light change green and cross. Later on, my hair will ruffle. Some more if start to sweat, it will destroy my make-up.”

Mrs. I:
“Do you know that my house have adults and children that I need to take care of? Went out for a while only already causes the house became like Zoo Park. If late a bit, sure the house will be like tornado had struck my house. To cross the road, I won’t care about anything; if without cars, I will just cross the road quickly without delay.”

Auntie O:
“Aiyo! Amma! Idup misti mau jaga baik-baik la. Mana ada olang tamau idup punya? Jalan misti tengok tulu. Saya ah suda tarak apa-apa kalau madi. Muda-muda suda mau madi, apa macam?”
“Aiyo! Amma! Life must be treasured properly. Where got humans do not want their lives? When cross the road must be careful. If I died, I don’t mind but those youngsters wanted to die – what to do?”

Tuk U:
“Sometimes I will look on the traffic but sometimes I don’t because when I wanted to cross the road, I don’t have enough opportunity due to my old age. I can’t walk any faster. If I couldn’t cross, I just take up my walking stick and cross.”

There you have it. From all 3 races in Malaysia – from old and young. Never-the-less, it has proved that Malaysia’s traffic problem have many places to be replace or restructure.

New logo update: WrestlingMania

This logo resembles the 26th Annual WWE WrestleMania (the way the logo, or the word 'WrestlingMania' design) and blend with classic WWE WrestleMania color fonts.

I got this website from Youtube when I was searching some WWE songs. Hope WrestlingMania will like it.

Maxis always not the smartest choice

Few days ago, I did ask for my mother some money to let me use the Maxis Hotlink SIM card to go online to update all source of things, including update my blog. At that time, not even my father’s Maxis Hotlink SIM card had enough credit to send it to me. I was thinking to go to cyber café to do all my things at a short period of time. I also abandoned the plan because I was not really having myself to go to cyber café anymore.

Yesterday, my mother had gotten her salary. My mother was generous enough to lend me RM50, so I could reload my Maxis Hotlink SIM credit to subscribe for weekly internet broadband package. I forgotten to bring my wallet along and I only realized it when I reached in front of 7-Eleven. Luckily, I was aware of it before I go inside the 7-Eleven (rather to make a shame of myself for forgotten to bring my wallet).

I went home and took my wallet, again returned to 7-Eleven and bought Hotlink RM30 reload coupon. I reload it instantly and went home quickly. Then, I turned on the laptop hoping to go online. However, the disappointing moments just started.

The landing page of Maxis Broadband showed that all my subscription not available and I went to check more information regarding the subscription. It was written as “INSUFFICIENT CREDIT”. In fast was I reloaded RM30, minus the broadband fee means that I still have around RM4. How come it became insufficient? To answer this question, I called up Maxis Customer Services.

At first, when the CS personnel told me to delete all the cookies and all histories in the browsers, I was happy with the explanation given. Yet, I am still unable to surf the internet. I called up to Maxis CS again. This time, most probably a Chinese woman who answered my call (the one just now was a Malay woman). I was a bit unhappy with the CS personnel because she couldn’t resolve my problem and since my SIM card is inside the broadband, how can I dial *100# to check my status?

I went and test it myself and it has allowed me to surf the net. At that time, I needed to follow my parents to Tesco Ampang for shopping, which I get myself a shampoo (Clear Men 2010 – the one Christiano Ronaldo uses in the commercial, even though I am currently using it and had used it for a long time). I also get myself with a card reader for moving some files from my phone’s memory card into my pen-drives.

The first thing I do after returned home was to check my line again – and the result was I am unable to surf the net again. Again, I called up Maxis CS and the CS personnel were a Malay man. He told me that he will reset the ‘location ID’ within 30 minutes and try again. So, I did exactly what he said and thank God that I can finally can online to update my blog and did something on my Facebook. This was continued on until the line had disconnected by itself. AGAIN, I was unable to surf the net.

I asked my brother to send me some credit but end up a failure. Then, I asked my real brother whether Maxis will not allow me to enjoy my subscription because of my credit or vice-versa? After a few more time, I getting very angry and I gave up to continue trying after more than 10 times attempt – restarts the computer. I smsed my friend and watched some videos before I went ‘knocked-out’.

The next morning, I made another attempt to call Maxis CS and expressed my disappointment. Maxis CS then asked me to try to call to Broadband Department and gave me the department’s phone number (1800-82-2000). Only then, they told me that all prepaid broadband customers are/were having the same problem and the technicians will finish their ‘works’ after 29th June. I was like blurred for a moment because all these while I called the Maxis CS and they never told me anything regarding the network’s problem. If DiGi, when I asked them about any network problems, they will just answer me and quickly refer the problem to the department that involved. DiGi always the smartest choice. Maxis always not the smartest choice.

---
I have been a loyal DiGi user since 2002. Although, I currently have a Maxis SIM card but it was just a back-up plan in case something/sometime needed to use Maxis.

Tribute to the King of Pop: King Michael Joseph Jackson

It has been a year after the shocking death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. His death never stops the world from listen, see, watch, sing and dance like the late King of Pop. He had inspired many individuals and organizations to stand up for peace of the world and fight for environment even for the poor. His death might be a lost to all of the people around the world but his songs still lives on for the future generation to understand more about the meanings behind the songs.

I keep listening to his songs after his death. First of all is Billie Jean, followed by Thriller, Black or White, Earth Song, Heal the World, Smooth Criminal and Man in the Mirror. ‘Heal the World’ has been a title that I’ve used for Earth Hour this year. Even the theme song of the title used the song Michael sang himself but that song was an instrumental performed by Vienna Orchestra.

Recently, I went to Youtube to watch certain tribute to Michael Jackson. Even I will get sad and can’t even believe that he had passed away just like that and he had passed away for a year. It also had triggered me and thinking of to learn some Michael Jackson’s dance moves: - moonwalk, Billie Jean Thriller and Smooth Criminal. I posted on Facebook about my thought and the only person that going to make my dream come true is Jason Ryan.

Both Jason and I did discuss to have a dancing tribute like other countries held after Michael had passed away. To think of certain situations – from organizing to preparation and to the real thing, IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. That how we are? Pathetic isn’t it? We also think that most of Malaysian doesn’t even care about this thing anymore.

In respect to Michael Jackson, I will try to learn the moonwalk and this post as my appreciation to him. Michael, even though you are not here right now with us but your songs still within our hearts, each and every one of us. Long Live the King of Pop!

Disclaimer: This post was written in the conjunction of his 1st anniversary of his death. Any contents (even my actions) within this post had nothing to do with my beliefs in my religion. That was just the way that made me feels.

Little Grey Rabbit’s Trivia of the Month: July

Little Grey Rabbit started to use his signature since 12 years old. On that time, he required to sign for the identification card. After since, he started to change his signatures which were contributed by factor of his handwriting.

Due to the intensive learning in government school, students required to write down notes as quite as they can in order to avoid the notes been erased. He started learning cursive writing on his Primary 4. Signature was only needed after 12 years old to redeem the teenage identification card, although currently the system might have been abolished.

His first signature was approximately about 3.5c.m. His handwriting at that time was a bit ugly. He signed “DANIEL” behind the temporary identification card before he can retrieve his teenage ID.

The evolution of his signatures started after he reached his secondary level. In certain forms where the spaces of signing were too small, he will sign using his initial “DN”. If the spaces were larger, he will sign in full length of “DANIEL”. His initial signature was 2.5c.m. while the longer signature about 4c.m. long.

After he had pressure of copy down notes given by teachers, his handwriting started to change to ‘doctor’s handwriting’. Starting that point onwards, he practiced to signed his full name, “DANIEL LIM” and was about 5 - 6c.m. long.

In certain point after his secondary level, he also practiced signing in his Japanese name, “DANIEL HAYASHI” or “TARO TAKASHI” but none of them became his official signature. Both the Japanese signatures were approximately 6c.m. long.

His current signature is with Japanese/Chinese character includes in it, “DANIEL 林” (which can be pronounced in Japanese or Chinese). This signature was about 4c.m. long only and started to replace his old signatures.

The only funny thing was rather to sign his name as “DANIEL”, he signed it as “DANIAL”. He signed it if he needed to sign it in a quick manner. If he signed in a slow and smooth manner, you will see his signature would be “DANIEL”. However, where got people to signed as slow as a turtle?

Little Grey Rabbit and Copa do Mundo FIFA 2010 with Stevy

Little Grey Rabbit had befriended with Stevy (also pronounce as Stev-Y or Stev-Wai) and was his first friend after he started to work as a teacher. Both Stevy and Rabbit went to places together, even to ‘Clock Square’ which Rabbit won’t step foot into that place because of his betrayal stories between Rabbit’s former friends.

During a trip, both Rabbit and Stevy did watch a Copa do Mundo match together with another follower. Even after trip, both of them did plan for a stay over which was suggested by Rabbit and due to Rabbit incapable to go out to watch alone, Stevy suggested and asked Rabbit to go to his house to watch the other matches.

Due to uncertain answer from Juan, that plan has been put aside temporarily until a day after a meeting with their employers. After that day, both of them went and had a nice rest before Rabbit went to meet up Stevy. However, Rabbit rested too much until he woke up at dust. He rushed to prepare all things and had his dinner with his family first.

At that night, Rabbit took along with his important equipment. He took public transportation to Stevy’s place and it was a long journey to his place. Rabbit scared that he lost within Stevy’s housing are, he sent a ‘Tweety messenger’ to Stevy. Stevy replied him and asked him to find at the paper stand while he was coming for him.

The match at that time was between Coréia do Norte and Portus Cale. We skipped that match because the match was going to finish soon. Then, Stevy took me to his house. Rabbit was so shy when he was inside Stevy’s house. As far as Rabbit known, Stevy had a brother – but noticed that he also had a sister, besides both of Stevy’s parents.

Stevy helped Rabbit to set up Rabbit’s equipment to allow Rabbit to get certain gadgets while waiting for the Copa’s next match between Suíça and Chile. When the time has arrived, we went to the nearest corner shop to watch that match. We predicted that Suíça will win by 1-0, but the result was 0-1. Before both of them left, there was a person came to Rabbit and asked for a trade with Rabbit’s 500 cents bank note.

Again, while waiting the match between Espanha and Honduras, Rabbit continue to update certain gadgets. Meanwhile, Stevy was updating his MS level. A while later, Stevy’s father returned home and Rabbit started to be afraid. Stevy was called by his father and both of them had chatted at the living room of their house while Rabbit was inside of Stevy’s room and his brother was sleeping.

Before the match started, Stevy drank some medicine because Stevy started to cough. Due to the effect of the medicine, Stevy fall asleep after the first-half of the match. 15 minutes later, he awakens and Rabbit advised him to turn off the TV and go to sleep.

Both of them sleep together in on bed because Stevy’s room was a small room and he slept on a double-decked bed. Rabbit concerned that Stevy won’t able to sleep properly, so he decided to just have a nap. Rabbit also never moved his position to sleep like a corpse. More worse that Rabbit started to cramped too. Rabbit continued with his nap until the next day’s noon.

When Stevy’s brother awakes, both Stevy and Rabbit also woke up too. Rabbit teaches Stevy the solutions of making a product using certain gadgets and equipments. After that, both Stevy and Rabbit also went to have their teeth brushed before all three of them went for their brunch. Rabbit returned home after that lunch.

Supernatural

After I moved in the house 2 years ago, my family practically saw a shadow went up and down the stairway. Never-the-less, my parents thought that it was the Thai god idol that my crazy uncle had been prayed for before he went crazy been the 'thing' that 'flashed' up and down the stairway (on shadow shape).

If we still encountered the same thing, my mother will definitely, demand 'it' to not disturb any of us for we weren't the one who brought 'it' to this house. My mother also demanded 'it' to find my uncle rather to disturb the whole family.

Before my third uncle moved out from the house, my uncle's son also often been 'disturbed' by (maybe) 'it'. He often cried at night and sometimes midnight too. However, my mother moved to that room with my father along with Connie - didn't encounter such a problem.

After I moved to my mother's room, I encountered such a problem. At the first few weeks, I didn't have any problem with sleeping because I slept before 12a.m. Since I needed to finish my work, I needed to stay awake until midnight. Soon after, the brawl started.

I like to open up the door of my room to allow fresh air from outside to go inside the room - since my room was closed up the entire month or even the entire year. Furthermore, when it comes to hot season/weathers, my room will be extremely hot because my room (back of the house) is facing the southwest.

One night, I heard sound of my wood parquet floor (although my parquet floor will stick on feet and fell down on the group) which totally strange that nothing dropped on the floor or someone walked - because I was the only person to stay in the room. After that strange thing happened, it was followed by a sound near by writing table, as a person flipped paper hard.

Although my neighbor did make a lot of sound when she still haven't sleep but I am so certain that the noises weren't not from my neighbor's room.

I also prayed to God for His blessings and demanded whatever spirits dwell inside my room to leave the room. I kept doing it for a period of time until there was nothing had happened again. Until last week, I went to my staff trip - so I wasn't aware of conditions soon after.

Within this week, I started to encounter strange noises again but it weren't from my room but outside of my room (even outside the house, the back alley). Can you imagined that some people rubbing your door from outside of the room? I encountered that. When it comes to a day before, I heard as someone was punching the cupboard outside the room and followed by voices of people talking at the back alley of my house.

I was a bit traumatized of this problem these few weeks until today my mother used her Chinese method to keep these spirits away from my room. Sooner, I needed to sleep early again because of the work will be starting next Monday. Hope it will not cost me my life.

UMNO Cheras cadangkan nama Jalan Ampang ditukarkan ke Jalan Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

Pada Majlis Perasmian Persidangan Perwakilan UMNO Cheras, ketuanya Datuk Wira Syed Ali Al Habshee mencadangkan agar nama Jalan Ampang ditukarkan ke Jalan Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad dan Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur juga ditukarkan ke Lapangan Terbang Dr. Mahathir - Dr. Siti Hasmah. Turut hadir pada persidangan itu ialah isteri Tun Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd. Ali.

Difahamkan selama ini RTM memonopolikan pelbagai perlawanan antarabangsa termasuk sukan Olimpik 2008 Beijing and lain-lain sukan antarabangsa.

Starting to use Semacode

Now, we are on a new era of technology. Semacode started to take over the current barcode system. Even Iphone (one of the applications) able to read Semacode.
The Semacode for this blog page (main page)
I am starting to use this semacode yesterday after I found out about it few days ago via Wikipedia. My Facebook profile picture already started it.
Sooner, much of my social network sites also will use this semacode as well. Try one today, it's fun. Much more if you use that Iphone application to read the semacode.

Patutkah Rapid Kuching menukar logonya sebelum diambil tindakan?

BaXX Revolutionary Army

Baxx Revolutionary Army (without simplified version name) is a group of freestyle shufflers. Don't get yourself confused with Baxx Agents and Baxx Army. As the shuffle skills revolved from time to time, the style of shuffles also changes following the trend of time.

On the first logo of Baxx Revolutionary Army, the logo features the colors of Malaysia flag. Red, white, yellow and blue. Each sides has 7 stars, total of 14 stars
symbolized all the states, plus the Federal Territories in this country. Tiger also can be seen with a glowing eyes.

The second logo is the simplest form of logo with a tiger head on the roundel. The 14 stars still can be seen. This logo design was simplified to be an easy identical and to be a part of T-shirt design (bi-colors).

The third one was a resemble of our country's coat of arm. Crescent moon
was removed to avoid any lawsuits. 14 stars was replaced with the Federal Star. The middle part of the logo was a bass speaker.

To support 1Malaysia concept, a special 1Malaysia logo also was designed and has been shown on my Twitter.

p/s: Sorry that I just write it short because I am too sleepy to write this post. I've been not updating my blog, so I just post and post and post and making myself late for my sleep. Errors and mistakes which can be found in this post, please do forgive me because I am just typing with my eyes half closed.

Time for 'High Definition'

Since now ever thing also in Hi-Def, so do some of my social network website. It was started since this Monday when I started to worked out the logo designs for Baxx Revolutionary Army (original name supposed to be Baxx Infection).

If I am going to take down all the videos of shufflers which are under Baxx Rev. Army, I am going to use my U10i which the video is in nHD version. It is as clear as HDTV too.

Much graphics still in VGA version. I couldn't change all the things on the blog as the template wasn't my design too. The header of the blog already been changed to nHD version. My Twitter layout also has been changed to nHD version. Currently, few of my graphics in nHD because I am also don't know what else I forgotten to change. Too much of sites I need to update, even WWE Universe.

The nHD logo designed by Little Grey Rabbit. Green was used as part of green plan that has been matched out to all members of Takashi Clan for going green and environmental-friendly. I get this idea from WWE HD template too.

Little Grey Rabbit's Trivia of the Month: June

Little Grey Rabbit has gifted talent on logo designing. During his teenage time, although he attended computer classes, the teacher will only asked him to play with computer games. After his uncle bought him a computer (Windows 98 version), he started to do things on his own with some helps from his neighbor and friends.

His first logo was the Sky God Team logo, which used Microsoft PowerPoint and combined with it. Since after, he continued his designs by using Macromedia Fireworks MX. His first successful logo design by using Adobe Illustrator was The Clan of Takashi logo.

Certain logo(s) were printed out as official documents and even printed out as T-shirt designs.

Most of his logo designs contain Christian-related motif logo. The current logo of Takashi Clan appeared to be a pair of wings and above the wings was a knight cross (Maltese cross). On NERV logo appeared to have a half design of the fig leaf (although some people thought was the maple leaf from Maple Story).

Logo terbaru: Rapid Kuching
